Improving Teaching – Secondary School case study

We worked with Castle Rushen High School in Castletown, Isle of Man, as part of Osiris Educational’s Outstanding Teaching Intervention. Typically at the end of the intervention, teachers reflect publicly on their own learning from the course. The teachers taking part had governors, other heads on the Island as well as the Department of Education in the audience listening intently. The reflections, whilst impressive, are not unusual. They show what happens when committed but busy professionals engage over two terms to analyse, reflect and improve their own teaching.
